In attesa della diffusione, sempre se ci sarà, dei testi ufficiali di Valtari ecco quello che qualche volenteroso (e pazzo... NON io comunque) è riuscito a ricavare.
Cominciamo con Dauðalogn.

Enginn taktur hraður
Algert dauðalogn
Enn á eðal tél
Lýðar gætúr birta von
Gegnum mér sjá logn
Allt toginá alða
Við áttan er greið
Ferðamönnum og mér
Fyllir fjallasal
Þetta bergmálar
Bergmálar í höfðum
Úti dauðalogn
Enn á eðal tél

Nú signu vast að unðum til von
Mörguni vætur
Allt sítt logngára stað
Og múkk árast í
Og múkk brjótum í dauðalogn

This echoes

Through the flames I see
Now a dark boat wonder into the hope
The morning rain
All its calm ripples in place
And the seagull attacks in
And the seagull breaks into the dead calm
